When using a poly tarp to cover your boat consider the following tips to maintain during storage. • Always support the cover from underneath, preferably the entire length of the boat, so that rain and snow will not form puddles on top of the cover. • Cover any sharp edges such as cleats and windshields with a cloth rag to prevent tears in the poly tarp material. • Secure all tie down points snuggly! A tightly attached tarp is the best protection against wind damage, the leading cause of tarp failure.
