The NEW Model 165 "RAPTOR" Disc Brake Actuator has a stronger low profile latch handle and a quick lock 2-5/16" coupler. Maximum actuator capacity is 16,500 lbs. Gross load: 1,650 lbs.
Includes a pre-installed reverse lock-out cylinder.
The "RAPTOR" Model 165 works by the “surge” or “push” of the trailer toward the tow vehicle. This automatically synchronizes the trailer brakes with
the brakes on the tow vehicle. When the trailer pushes against the tow vehicle, the actuator telescopes together and applies the force to the
master cylinder, supplying hydraulic pressure to the brakes. The built in sealed and independent dampening shock absorber controls
the telescoping shock against the hitch. Other unique features include a pre-installed reverse lock-out solenoid. Vinyl coated tension coiled break-away cable, stainless steel ball latch safety pin, double locking coupler latch and quick bleeding access design are all standard features.
